The Mars Express probe was the first planetary mission of the European Space Agency, sent to the Red Planet in 2003; the same mission saw the launch of a lander to the surface, even if it was unable to fully implement its work, the orbiter recorded, and still is doing so, surprising and spectacular images that will enrich the image park in HD especially from NASA-JPL but also that of Google MARS, the Google map.
In one of these high-resolution images of the surface of Mars, an anomaly or more exactly what appears to be a huge A̳n̳c̳i̳e̳n̳t̳ was found. This single block is upright and could be an A̳n̳c̳i̳e̳n̳t̳ monument or building.
The monolith is 1,200 meters high and in the image taken from Google MARS, you can see other objects near the monolith that are unrecognizable and blurred. This monolithic object is clearly present on the Martian surface since a shadow on the monolith appears on the side opposite the Sun.
Therefore it seems unlikely that the monolith is the result of a digital image artifact, a pixel error or a technical problem with the quality of the frame.
