Where does the soul go after de̳a̳t̳h̳? Several scientists have said that de̳a̳t̳h̳ is not the end and that people have a soul that leaves the body after de̳a̳t̳h̳.
British physicist Sir Roger Penrose believes that consciousness is a package of information that is stored at the quantum level.
He claims to have found evidence that this information, which is stored in microtubules in human cells, leaves the body after someone dies.
This quantum information will be released after the de̳a̳t̳h̳ to the universe, but returns to the cells in the body if the person is resuscitated.
This may explain why people have near-de̳a̳t̳h̳ experiences, according to Penrose. He thinks that this quantum information can be seen as the soul.
“If the patient dies, this quantum information can exist outside the body, perhaps indefinitely, as a soul,” said the physicist.
Sir Penrose can count on support from researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Physics and Astrophysics in Munich.
Experts from the institute say that our physical universe is just a perception and that infinite afterlife is awaiting for us.
Dr. Hans-Peter Dürr, former head of the institute, said: “What we like here and now see, this world is only the physical level we can understand.”
“Beyond that there is an infinite reality that is much bigger,” he continued.
“The body dies, but the quantum field remains. In this regard, I am immortal. “
