The Air Force NORAD station deep beneath Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado, USA, has been claimed to track an approximate average of 500 of these Fastwalkers per year from its subterranean location.
After the public learned of the Fastwalkers, the Pentagon disclosed unrelated satellite data in 1993, confirming that satellites were frequently picking up unexplained high-speed moving objects in space that were neither missiles nor meteorites/asteroids.
